Tettiigoniinae, Unidentified Shield-backed katydid

Swan Coastal Plain, Perth, Western Australia

I found this female katydid on the ground whilst getting ready to photograph a small grasshoppers. I quickly changed my mind and went for the large katydid instead! Note the shield-like plate behind the head, which gives this katydid family its name.
